Relieve suffering following natural disasters, civil unrest, or famine around the world.
Our Approach
When local resources are strained or nonexistent, we provide short-term, life-sustaining resources such as food, water, shelter, and clothing, as well as medical, school, and hygiene supplies. This response is accomplished in partnership with local relief organizations and other international organizations. Under the direction of local leadership, volunteers for Katorian Hope For The Refugees help disaster victims recover by distributing supplies and participating in cleanup.

The purpose of Immigrant Services is to help people who have immigrated to the United States find the support and resources they need to succeed in their communities and become self-reliant. These services are provided by partnering with community organizations. In addition, there are opportunities for each of us to help refugees and immigrants in our communities. Our Mission
Preserve life and protect health, particularly of children, by improving access to immunization services. Our efforts have increased the number of immunized children and reduced the number of lives lost to measles, rubella, maternal and neonatal tetanus, polio, diarrhea, pneumonia, and yellow fever.

Maternal and Newborn Care

Our Mission
Provide lifesaving training and equipment for birth attendants to help resuscitate babies at birth, support the care of newborns, and improve maternal survival.
Our Approach
We work with local organizations to initiate a perpetuated train-the-trainer program for doctors, nurses, and midwives based on curriculum from “Helping Babies Breathe”, “Essential Care for Every Baby” and “Helping Mothers Survive”. In addition to the lifesaving skills that are taught, delivery rooms and midwives are provided the equipment needed to practice and implement the techniques they have learned.

We have responded to the refugee crisis by developing a three-pronged approach: immediate relief, long-term aid, and resettlement support. To accomplish our work, we have joined with a variety of trusted local and global partners to support refugees.

Vision Care
Reinforcing our Commitment
Our Mission
Prevent avoidable blindness and visual impairment as we strengthen eye care services to the poor by mentoring vision professionals who work in health care organizations. We also provide equipment, supplies, and organizational support to these eye care professionals and programs.
Our Approach
Specialists volunteer their time in a short-term program in which they help provide training, equipment, and supplies to assist local eye care professionals and programs. Since 2017 more than 100 people have benefited from Katorian Hope For The Refugees inc vision projects throughout the world.

Improve mobility, health, and the educational and economic opportunities for people with physical disabilities.
Our Approach Katorian Hope For The Refugees Inc works to improve mobility, health, and the educational and economic opportunities for people with physical disabilities.
Working with local organizations, Katorian Hope For The Refugees Inc improves services for persons with disabilities and provides manual wheelchairs or walking aids that are appropriate to individual needs and circumstances.
The program also organizes volunteers to train local organizations to assess individual needsandselect and fit appropriate wheelchairs, trains individuals and caregivers, and provides support for repair and maintenance.
